Launch at 10:00 a.m.

First, a note on this blog:  Thanks to my darling favorite daughter, Holly; a couple of gadgets have been added.  You can now subscribe to receive email notice of a new post. 

We actually managed to get all the ducks in a row and left home about 10:00 a.m.  We sang our "On the Road" song as we headed out. 

 Finnegan was especially anxious to leave.  He slipped right into his routine and was the perfect traveler all day.

We drove to Williams, AZ where we decided to hunker down for the night.  We'll leave early in the morning for Las Vegas. 

Finn enjoyed his long walk in Williams.  He's really an attention getter and he talks back to everyone who admires him.



Our home-away-from-home this first night is in a Safeway parking lot - with the managers permission, of course.  We're booked into a very nice gated RV park in Las Vegas.  Tonight we're slumming...

The adventure has begun...

Preparing to Launch

It's been three years since we took off on our seven month RV adventure.  We explored the East and had the most amazing adventure.  This time we're headed West.  We'll explore parts of the U.S. and Canada and, of course, visit every National Park along the way.

We're still busy preparing Great Expectations, our motorhome, or "the tenement on wheels"  as Susan calls it.  We'll take off in about a week, and we're going to have a ball!!!
